DAQConnect Supported Hardware and Software:
DAQConnect support is available for a wide variety of hardware and software solutions, allowing you to easily get the data from these systems onto the web. If your system is not listed, please contact us and we can help DAQConnect enable your hardware or software.
Software solutions: Locations with an available PC
OPC Quick Client: connect to any OPC server and send data to DAQConnect. OPC servers are available for just about any PLC, RTU or other automation device.
DAQFactory: low cost HMI / SCADA for the PC designed for smaller (< 3000 tag) systems.
DAQFactory can communicate with a wide variety of devices. In addition to communicating with DAQConnect,
it also provides complete SCADA functionallity including local display, trending, logging, automated control,
and alarming.

Windows System monitor: this tool allows you to monitor hundreds of metrics on your PC including processor time, memory usage and much more. All this data can be sent to DAQConnect giving you remote PC monitoring capability to a completely customizable web interface. The DAQConnect enabled system monitor is available from the downloads menu in DAQConnect.
Windows DLL: a generic DLL that most software applications can call to enable them to connect to DAQConnect. Please contact us if you need help connecting your software to DAQConnect using the DLL. If you need ActiveX, please contact us.
RESTful: DAQConnect uses a simple RESTful interface for sending and receiving data. Any software that can open a socket or an HTTP request can easily communicate with the DAQConnect servers. You can even send data to DAQConnect by simply typing in the appropriate URL in your browser. The RESTful interface documentation is included in the DAQConnect help.
Hardware solutions: Locations without an available PC
DAQBridge: a Modbus to DAQConnect gateway. This "black box" provides
RS485, RS232 and Ethernet ports that can be connected to multiple Modbus devices.
The box queries your devices at rates you specify and sends the data to DAQConnect.

NetBurner Ethernet devices: a whole suite of programable devices with
serial and Ethernet capability, 32 bit coldfire processors, and a powerful networking
library. Available both in OEM board level, and fully packaged configurations. A DAQConnect
library is available to easily add DAQConnect web capability to NetBurner devices. These
devices are designed for more advanced users that can do development in C, but if you
are looking for a custom hardware solution with DAQConnect capability and don't have the
necessary skills in house, please contact us and we can help.
